Our chapel of Rest opoened in 1991 as the business developed.

Our chapel can serve several purposes, it can provide a meeting point for families on the funeral day in a private intimate setting.

It is also possible to hold services here with an organist or music.

Our chapel of rest provides a quiet and calming atmosphere for families to spend time with their loved ones.

Agorwyd ein Capel Gorffwys yn 1991 wrth i'r busnes ddatblygu. Mae sawl pwrpas i'r Capel wrth iddo gynnig safle cwrdd i deuluoedd gael amser personol a phreifat cyn gadael a chyrraedd y prif wasanaeth angladdol. Waunddewi Chapel of Rest was built by Wyn and Delyth Bishop after the purchase of the old farmhouse

The Building Stage

After some time of planning and building Waunddewi Chapel of Rest was opened in August 1991 by several local minsters and vicars with the main aim to offer a private and tranquil space for families who wish to hold a service here.

The Office

Some years later we opened the office, which is attached to the Chapel of Rest, to provide a comfortable space for families when they visit.

Our Chapel of Rest

The Chapel was refurbished in 2020, but retaining its cosy, calm setting for services and for families to pay their respects

Over the years our Chapel has become a vital part of the service that we offer. The Chapel of Rest can be used for religious or non religious services. We also have the services of an organist if required.
